SCHOLARSHIPS CAN CHANGE A LIFE
Becoming educated is one of the best ways to come out of poverty, and for boys especially, to stay out of gangs, crime and jail. But knowing an education is important and desiring an education is not always enough to overcome the obstacles.
The easiest obstacle to help someone overcome is the financial one, so please, help us help these students to get a good education.
PRIMARY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
It costs just $450 per year to educate and child at Holy Cross School, including hot lunches, dental care, tuition and text books.
HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
It costs just $1,000 to $1,200 per year to provide everything a student needs to go to High School in San Pedro. See the FAQ’s a the bottom of this page for more information.

FAQ’s for Scholarships
I’d like to sponsor a student – what next? Thank you! Contact Linda at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions, or go straight to the Holy Cross Education Foundation Website to make payment.
How to I pay? Either via the Holy Cross Education (a US 501(c)3) or by check to the school. Details for both are on our donate page.
Can I pay by installment? For a primary school scholarship you can, but with high school scholarships monthly installments are not possible as the bulk of expenses are up front (ie uniforms, books, registration, first term fees). By arrangement you can pay at least half up front and the rest by an agreed date.
Can I communicate with my student. Yes! HIgh school students will email you to once a month or so, as well as sending report cards. They’d love to hear from you. Primary school students will send a letter several times during the year.
